I sorted out a real domain for the site (no more .wordpress.com), from now on use;

The origional url (rantingsofanenglishman.wordpress.com) may or may not be consumed into the depth of the internet, still got to sort that out, but for now it still works.
I’m also in the proccess of making the forums a sub-domain, something like ‘rantingsofanenglishman.co.nr/forums’ so il post when I’ve done that.
When you think of VALVe, you may think of incredible writing, technologies and general high quality-ness. But, in some ways they are complete idiots.

It may or may not have come to your attention that valve hates you.
Yes I am talking to the people who bought the console version of orange box. Sure it was nice of them to package all those lovely games together, and yes they did all kick ass, but was it really nessary to abandon us there? I mean the PC version of Team Fortress 2 has gotten new maps, new voices and new skins on the way too. Not the mention the fact that PC owners get sprays on TF2. This little feature of sprays is enough to appease us Xbox live gamers and make us happy for a while. Another thing is maps on TF2, or rather the lack of maps on TF2. Valve has solved this problem nicely on the PC with map packs (and of course user generated, or mods) coming, but the poor consoles may never even see these at all.
One general bone I have to pick is why did Valve miss out the best TF2 game type? Playing as a civillian was the highlight of my TFC gaming experience. The ability to sneak up on an assasin trying to kill you and beat him to death with your unbrella was more fun than capturing bags and spaces. No doubt valve has some big plans to release this on the PC. I would get the orange box for the pc or just Team Fortress 2 for that matter. But i dont have a gaming rig because I thought an xbox 360 and wii would be enough.

Brittney Spears is going insane and getting all depressed over some marriage bullshit or something. And now she is moaning because all the media is ripping the shit out of her. Good. Fuck her. She made the choice and now she is public property. And, like all public property she should be pissed on by dogs and thrown up on by drunks. My question is; why does she deserve all this bad publicity when they are many more insane depressives to pick on? I mean, there are people out there who arnt celebrities who are going mad with depression, why dont you go take photos of them having a shit?

1. (not so much an update) We are still looking for willing moderators on the forums, to inquire email me or send me a PM through the forums.
2. I added Akcos Live card to the sidebar as he finally got a 360 over the Christmas break.
3. I finally got round to doing the widget for the forums, also if anyone can create a good logo instead of the (rather bland) one we have now, either email me the file or send me the URL to it. I will give credit were due, but i will only accept original’s, I dont want any you nicked off a quick google image search.
4: Lastly, we decided to get a new skin for the site, the plain old white one got a bit boring.
